Was using iphone for just music. I no longer have the sim card and phone is locked to a provider. I upgraded to 4.2, but now I cannot get past the first screen, it only allows emergency calls. Original reason for upgrading was brokepower button.
Was using iphone 3GSwith ios 3.? just for music. Phone is still locked but I no longer have sim card for that provider. Now I want to use as the phone (for a senior) with a different provider. I upgraded to 4.2?, using itunes, but now I cannot get past the itunes USB plugin screen. It only allows emergency calls. Original reason for upgrading was broken power button (wanted to use accessibility option for on/off). How can I get out of this block?
