iPhone dialer 'keypad screen' shows random contact numbers when opened after exiting the app. And these contacts are probably people whom I haven't contacted in the last few months. I've tried restarting [soft/hard] the phone, to no use.

Seems to be a common issue since the last OS upgrade. I'm having the same thing. Always the same contact too.
Open setting> Display and Brightness> Display Zoom and then change from standard to zoomed and vice versa.

No one has a solution. I feel so bad. Even the 9.3 IOS upgrade does not help.
I hope that Apple will solve this problem in the future upgrade. HOPE! Only hope.

i tried restoring phone with one week old backup and it removed number from multitasking window...GOOD LUCK
