iPhone 6s plus Ghost Touch

I bought my iPhone 6s Plus the week it was released. Starting about 4 weeks ago, I noticed that the screen was randomly responding to Ghost Touches. Apps would open on their own, random characters would appear while text messaging, etc. There does not seem to be any pattern, and the problem feels like it is getting more frequent. I have done extensive searching, and this is apparently a known phenomena. Unfortunately, I have not found anything remotely close to a solution. Anyone experiencing this? Have you found a solution?

I have exactly the same issues on my iPhone 6s plus, it is typically one month past its warranty period.

The Apple Store in Brighton uk are saying they have never heard of this problem before and, are not willing to fix it as it is just out of warranty, the best advice they had was to buy a new phone, or hand over £300 for a possible fix.

I have always looked after this phone, it has never been dropped or got wet, there is not a scratch or mark on it.

It is basically a completely useless device now as it cannot be used.

Has anyone found a fix for this problem?

Many thanks..
