Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 didn't show in LPX

After installing Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 Aria Player (v 1846 ) in Logic Pro X ( 10.2.0 ), the

Aria Player didn't show at all in Logic ( plug-in manager or in AU Instrument in Instrument slots ).

The PS4 in showing properly in the Library/Audio/Plug-in folder, and then supposed to show in Logic.

The PS4 is 64-bit. Try everything, uninstall, re-download re-install, everything is ok each time but never show up

in Logic. Any Idea? Thanks.

Support from Garritan is great but they are as puzzled as me.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), 3,06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB

I have the same issue. Running Sierra. Logic 10.3.x. Updated my Aria Player. Made sure the Aria AU components are in the correct folder. Logic doesn't see it. Pretty frustrating...if anyone has suggestions, please let me know.

In the AU,s You should be looking for Garritan, before Aria, right?

Often, it's the main company name that shows up there, and if you forget that, it can be frustrating.

I am having this problem after updating to sierra and then updating to logics latest version. I have a macbook pro 2010. the problem is if i delete the ARIA components and all that, i wouldn't know where i could reinstall from. There is no installation package in my computer.

Did you try going into the AU Manager, and reset/rescan that plugin?

I don't have the answer, but.. I'm having the same issue in Logic 10.2, El Captain, on a new laptop. And no, rescanning does nothing. Logic simply does not see it at all.

I suspect it's the Aria player, in the latest Apple OS (el Captain) The Aria player shows up and works perfectly in Yosemite on my other mac.

Thanks Ben, I try that too but I can't even select the plug-in since it didn't even show up in the list!

I try a to rescan everything too, but nothing happen....

Thanks Jim, I'm starting to think that it is probably the Apple OS El Capitan in fact.

I would suggest this to the Garritan company and see what answers I got.

According to the update notes, Garritan/Aria are still not confirming full compatibility with 10.11 as of this latest update...

I had tried with the very latest version of the Aria Player, and nothing works as you mention.

Thanks for your help, I think I have a better idea now and will check with Garritan about this

compatibility.

I don't have an answer for you, unfortunately, but I just wanted to say that I have Garritan GPO, GIO, and JABB working properly in Logic Pro X (10.2.0) so it IS possible. I'm also using Aria Player v.1846.

The only suggestion I can make is that you upgrade to OSX 10.11.2 if you haven't done so already.

Interesting... I am currently running Mac OS 10.11.2 as well as Logic 10.2.0 and Aria player v. 1846 simply is not seen at all. The AU manager doesn't even show it as a possible scan, so I can re-scan to make Logic "see" it.

However, the stand alone Aria player opens and loads sounds just fine...

The issue will be to do with the AU plugin validation it seems and so it's not surprising that the standalone version will work..

Have you confirmed that the plugin is correctly installed in either the User or System Library> Audio>Components folder?

If you create a new user in OS X's system prefs, switch to that user.... and then test.. does it then validate?

I'm still a relatively new user, so I would need the full path spelled out to discover if Aria player is a validated plugin. In my case, the stand alone version works fine, but can't see the Aria plugin anywhere in LPX.

I just tried this... logged out, and logged back in as a test user, when I launched Logic, it still never saw or validated the Aria plug in, but it DID scan and validate the few others I have installed on this computer.
