aol 6.0 coming out for macs anytime soon?

Hello, I just recently downloaded the new MSN Messanger, of which is compatible with the intel processors and regular macs. I was wondering if AOL is coming out with a new AIM for mac as well? There is of course iChat, but I use AIM more than I do iChat. It'd be great if someone could inform me whether or not AIM 6.0 will be coming out for macs anytime soon.

Only AOL would know the answer, so you might want to ask them. Personally I think not. It's been nearly 3 years since the last one, and I think they even officially announced a while ago that they did not intend to do another Mac client.

I've not even heard rumors about any new Mac apps out of AOL. I wouldn't hold my breath.

Have you tried Adium?

Right now I'm running an AIM session, as well as MSN, Yahoo, and two Jabber sessions (GoogleTalk and Jabber.org). But, of course, iChat is best for video.
