When viewing movies via Home Sharing from my iTunes library, my 1080p versions will sometimes buffer over wifi. I have the same movie in SD but can't figure out how to choose between the HD and SD versions on my 3rd gen Apple TV.

Funny you should recommend that Netgear range extender, I was just looking at that on Amazon yesterday and wondering if it would help. I may have to try it out. Thanks for the input!!
Lol. Well it's got my recommendation! Saves from having to run wires. There is a slight degredation but still ample enough to support my HD home-share anyway...
Looks like your only option would be to delete the HD version out of iTunes
I've already explained what to do, deleting the HD version isn't necessary.
