iMessage is not showing my phone number

hello


I can't see my phone number in imessage and face time it only shows my apple id.


i have reset network and location setting and make sure that my number is added in the phone.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.2

I had the same problem I finally after reading blogs after blogs and following step by step any suggestion, I found the solution.


First go and check if your Apple ID account is set up with your phone number.

Log in: https://appleid.apple.com

Go into your account and see under “Reachable at” that your phone number is listed. If not click on edit and add your number.


Go into ALL of your apple IOS devices in your Messages and Facetime and log out of your Apple ID.


Iphone, Ipad:

Go to Settings, Messages and Facetime, scroll down to Send & Receive, sign out of your Apple ID.

Macbook, iMac:

Go into Messages, Preferences, Accounts and sign out of your Apple ID


After you signed out on every IOS device, go back in your iPhone, iPad, Macbook, iMac and sign in with your Apple ID in messages and Facetime.


Your devices should recognize your phone number on each device.

Hello and thank you for your time and support.

unfortunately, it didn't work.

I reset all the setting, sign out from my Icloud and did not sign my ID for Imessage so may my number appears in the list. Also I do restart the phone after each step but still my number is not listed in both: Imessage and Facetime.

I took my phone to an apple store shop and again they reset the networking setting, reset all setting and make the phone in airpalne mode...ect. They used different methods to help me but unfortunately nothing changed. My phone number did not appear in both Imessage anf Facetime.

Since the two last nights, my phone consumed all my topup and I refill again and again because each msg to activate take around 1.30 USD!!

so whenever I switch on my phone on or restart it they deduct from my topup to acivate Imessage but Nothing changed for the last 24 hours. Feeling disappointed. 😢


I don't really know if contacting the support department will make any change!

Hello,

I recived the call and they give me simple instruction to follow, which you had already mentioned.


To sing in to Icloud email on both Facetime and Imessage and to switch them on. Then to restart my phone and to wait for 24 hours.


I waited till now for about 7 hours after their call and before few minutes I receive this message:




As you can see: "the activation unsuccessful , turn on Imessage to try again"

Although the Imessage is already on!!!!!


What to do please.

Hello,

I am frustrated and this iMessage drive me crazy.

I did follow all the instruction and called the carrier and guess what!?

Nothing worked with me.


This it the fourth time I receive this msg:

I went step by step with Apple support Center! but nothing here to say.

I checked this page and followed the instructions ans with less than 7 hours the above (as shown in the picture appear)

What next to do!

Hi there!


I am going through EXACTLY the same for the last 4 days. Apple support is also unable to fix the issue. But then I found some hint somewhere to check the details of your apple ID and see if you have checked your number in that as Home or Mobile. If it was Home, changing it to Mobile seems to work, but not for me yet. You may try. But if you already have fixed the issue, please share the same because I am running the same frustration 😟 Thank you, dear.
