how can i add the touch id feature to login to my chase app?

On my old iphone 6 I was when i downloaded the Chase bank app it asked if I wanted to login with my fingerprint. I recently replaced my phone but it does not give me that option and I've tried adding it on the settings but it does not allow me.

Although you are required to activate TOUCH ID in settings to use this feture, it has nothing to do with other (Non-apple) apps.

You are required to log into the app, ie.. chase, wellsfargo, bank of america, ect ... go to settings and activate this feture in the app itself. I just did it and it works correctly every time...

Now the real question is why do people post stuff on here if they don't know what they are talking about? I would be very careful who you listen to!

Do your homework, half the people that post on this forum have no knowledge of which they speak...

Rule of thumb is read at least 10 or more postings on the subject and do an evaluation, if you have at least 50% or more people saying the same thing the odds are that the answer is correct ..

Troy's information applies to any app that offers the use of fingerprint as a proxy for the app password. You must first have fingerprint recognition enabled in settings, with a passcode in place (as fingerprint recognition itself requires use of a passcode). Only then will apps like Chase, Bank of Ameica, Fidelity, mSecure, etc that support fingerprint recognition give you the option of setting that up when you launch them.
