etrecheck help please mac running extremely slow post el capitan update

My mac has been running extremely slow since updating to el capitan. I've already uninstalled my security software, unplugged and restarted the computer, but nothing seems to help. Everything I try to do results in the beachball. Here is my etrecheck. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thank you!!!

Your post stops at the hardware listing. Which is slightly helpful that it shows you have 8 GB of RAM installed. For most users, that should be plenty for El Capitan.

The EtreCheck report shows all third party items that are currently running, and other items that may be on your system but not loaded into RAM. Run the app again and copy the entire contents to the clipboard. Paste the whole thing here.

When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is especially bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Launch the Console application in any one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ In the Finder, select Go Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES All Messages

from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

View Show Log List

from the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Scroll back to the time you noted above.

Select the messages entered from then until the end of the episode, or until they start to repeat, whichever comes first.

Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of it useless for solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.

Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

When you post the log extract, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "The message contains invalid characters." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the text on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

If you have an account on Pastebin, please don't select Private from the Paste Exposure menu on the page, because then no one but you will be able to see it.

Hello and thank you very much for the help. I did what you asked but can't get my computer to stop beach balling long enough to copy the log for you. What I can tell you is that the repeated error seems to be "console kernel: disk0s2 I/O error" followed by "hfs_clonfile: cluster_read failed-5"

I will continue trying to post the log file but I don't seem to be making any progress.

There is a possibility that "disk0s2 I/O error" is indicating your disk is starting to fail. When a disk is failing, it is often times performing thousands of retires that do not make it into the operating system logs. A disk drive may take several seconds doing retries per read which can really REALLY slow down your Mac.

backup backup backup. And keep your backups up-to-date until you have a chance to get your system evaluated.

Suggest you make at least 2 backups, to 2 different devices, using 2 different backup utilities. This is to protect you from a failure in one of the devices, and a failure in the backup software.

Next I suggest you make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store and have your system tested.
