Address and search box not accepting my typing…

I go to type in a web address and well nothing as you can see my keyboard is fine but the box has multiple web addresses pilling up on top of each other. I have restarted and have not loaded any new apps or anything lately.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), 2.66 GHz, 8 Gig Ram

Disable Safari Suggestions in Safari/Preferences/ Search/ Uncheck Safari Suggestions.
