Recent Safari Search Bar Issue

Lots of users on this forum are reporting recent issues with Safari browser search bar.

I can't type in nor use my adress field in safari (since updating to 10.11.3)

Cant type in URL of Safari Version 9.0.3

Possible solution to address bar problem: disable Safari Suggestions

Try to Disable Safari Suggestions in Safari/Preferences/ Search/ Uncheck Include Safari Suggestions option.
