my safari search / url input is overlapping text and search does not seem to work at all. is anyone else experiencing these issues since installing 10.11.3 update?
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)
Disable Safari Suggestions in Safari/Preferences/ Search/ Uncheck Safari Suggestions.

Definitely solves the problem of crashing Safari. But even after doing so, it still goes slow as ****...
This fixed the issue with the search box, it is a bit disconcerting this was missed on testing and that you can have a selection in the preferences that borks functionality like that.
10.11.3 update seems to have broken my safari.
