How to get rid of icon buttons when typing?

Could someone explain how to get rid of those little icon buttons that keep popping up onscreen when I use my keyboard. Read on this forum that they are something to do with 'apps'? Is that the information and icons that appear when you swipe up from the bottom of the screen? With the wording 'airdrop' in the middle of the screen? If so, how do I 'Switch off' these little buttons, that appear at the bottom, the right side of the screen and at the top? Can anyone advise me on this?

There is also a box that keeps appearing onscreen also when I use my keyboard, something about 'iCloud location', with the word 'done' on there to tap to get rid of that box. Can anyone advise me how to stop this box from appearing when I am typing...

TThat's the 'home page' isn't it? I cannot see any of those icons on that page. The ones I was referring to, are quite small and pop up with a sort of 'v' shape sign on them, and appear at the side, bottom and top of the screen, when using my keyboard to type up emails. I cannot see where to switch off these little small 'button' type of thing that keeps popping up, momentarily, and then disappear again from off the screen. I don't see any point to these 'buttons' so want to remove them. Has this illustrated what I referring to? I hope you can assist me if so...?

as for the iCloud symbol. I don't appear to have that on my home screen and it is a box that pops up when typing emails, with the words icloud location, and a square box appears to type things up into. Is there any way of removing this from the screen too? Thanks for helping...

Yeah. It must be the control center. The middle 'button' resembles the 'icon' button that keeps popping up, but with the symbol above it on the icon button as opposed to the 'squiggly' looking lines on that middle icon in the control center. Is there any way of stopping this, should it be connected to that icon button on there, constantly popping up the tiny button onto my iPad's screen, can it be stopped as it destroys my concentration. I have tapped on that icon, to turn it off but it doesn't seem to work. I don't understand why that icon keeps appearing onscreen, just what is its function? The icons only appear fora second or two then go of the screen again. Point for that? I have no idea?

AS for the slide over feature with the 'icloud drive' icon on there, not sure I have this, can't see on it onscreen. So I need to somehow find where that icon is so I can hopefully turn that one too to stop that sqaure box popping up too. I have had Dropbox removed from my account, which is connect to iCloud? So don't understand why it keeps appearing, that sqaure box with those words in there, 'iCloud location'? Is there anyway of turning that one of too? Hope you can help here..

CChecked that keyboard In iTunes. is there any contact details, for itunes to find it if that keyboard will supply a solution To this little problem. That icon on both my iPads, that shouldn't be there? i'll check online to see.

just some questions if you can answer these, please? It suggests that on this keyboard the question mark and exclamation mark etc, can be turned 'upside down'. That totally disorientates me. Would there be a way of turning that off, in settngs(?), so it wouldn't occur? Just another problem to resolve otherwise. Sensory processing disorder...Sorry...

and when it suggests that ' potential crashes from updating quick fire messages are solved by this keyboard', I presume that refers to the typing of words up onto the screen via that keyboard? Yes? Not a 'techie', so this 'language' confuses me... You seem to understand this better, so I welcome your replies...

Until we know the source of the problem we don't know if the Brightkey Keyboard will fix it.

Don't invert the question mark and exclamation point if it disorients you.

The last question has to do with Brightkey's updates. Don't worry about them.

Try some basic trouble shooting.

First. Try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait until your iPad starts on it's own.

Second. If the reset didn't help try settings> general> reset> reset all settings. No data is lost but you must re-enter your wifi passcode.

Third. Connect your iPad to iTunes on your computer and restore your iPad. I don't have a computer so I really can't help you here.

You're welcome. If you can include a screenshot it would be very helpful. I wrote out how a while ago so I'll paste the steps below.

Have what you want to show on the screen.

Press and release the home and power buttons at the same time, your iPad will flash. Be sure not to hold the buttons down, just press and release.

Write the text of your reply.

Move the cursor down two rows by tapping the return key

.

Tap the camera icon in the editor bar above.

Tap choose file.

Tap Photo library.

Tap All photos or Screenshots.

Tap the screenshot you want. The most recent is in the lower right
.

Tap Insert image.

It's a lot of steps, just do them one at a time and let me know if you need help.
