The letters on my onscreen keyboard have moved. i.e. the A is now in the top row of letters, the M is in the middle row. How do I change it? I don't know how it got changed to begin with.

Okay, glad you got it going. What exactly got it to work again?
Hold down the sleep/wake button and tap the home button and you should hear the shutter sound. That will then be saved in the camera roll. You can add it to the conversation here by clicking on the camera icon in the toolbar area of the typing area.

Yes its a standard keyboard and I haven't had any 3rd party keyboards. I did try to sleep/wake and home together, but it didn't seem to fix it. How do I take a screenshot? Thanks for your time.

Are you using the standard keyboard? Have you added any additional keyboards, especially any 3rd party keyboards?
Can you provide a screenshot of this keyboard layout? Then can you try to do a reset on your device? This will not affect your content. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The device should reboot. Check after that.
Thanks for you're help. But it didn't fix the problem. QWERTY was already selected. I tried restarting the ipad, but the problem is still there. Thanks, though!
