When I search for music on apple music search bar and nothing pops up. Any one else with this problem and anyone know how to fix it?

Try checking again. I just tried and it's finally working! I think they fixed it.

Nah, it's not. It's working on android, but not my iPhone 6S.

Just spent an hour with Apple Music support and the solution is simple: force restart your device. The Apple Music Dev Team has been made aware of the issue and hopefully will be resolved in 9.2.2 or 9.2.3.

Yes I phoned Apple Suppport too and in middle of my call the search started to work, at least it was fixed on my iPad, but the problem persisted on my old iPhone 5. So I signed out of "iTunes and App Store" I switched off Apple Music and iTunes Match and rebooted. I then signed back in and turned everything back on....I then kept trying the search several times, over a period of 5 minutes or so and it started working.

So that was either a way to fix the problem, or a stroke of luck, or Apple fixed it, just at that moment in time... I suspect it was the latter :-)

Try to force restart your iOS device. I just downloaded iOS 9.2.1 on iPhone 6 and got the same problem. Girl with blue headphones and blue brick wall and no music controls. No visibility and no ability to review and select your own music. The reboot fixed it. Seems like each one of these iPhone updates turns into a wild goose chase to get things working properly.

I force restarted my device with no success. Apple Music still not loading any songs on my iPhone 6s, software completely up-to-date at 9.2.1

I retired the above and it works. Thank you.

OK, so I told Siri to play something I didn't own (try saying "play 80s music") and then I opened my music app and viola! Maybe it was coincidence, maybe it fixed it. But now I can magically search! Good luck!

I Just read an article online that suggested clearing Safari cache. Settings/Safari/clear history and website data.

THe he site went onto explain that the bug was to do with safe website data that was upgraded since 26th Jan.

IT sounded a bit daft to me but I had nothing to loose.

FOllowed instructions, force quitted Music ap. Opened it again and voila! Music searching for the first time in 24 hours.

DEfinitely worth a try if you are having this problem.

Force restart worked for me. Not a good fix, but something is better than nothing for now.
