I recently made a playlist with all my songs in order from when i got them however they are in the wrong order and I simply want to reverse the order, I cannot sort it by date added because I jumped over from spotify and have downloaded songs of apple music that I once had on spotify
So simply, is there anyway to reverse the order of my playlist
instead of it going a,b,c,d i want it to go d,c,b,a,

The current play order is given by the left most column of numbers. Click the heading of this column if not currently selected then click the small black triangle to invert the order. Right/control-click on the playlist name and click Copy to Play Order, then click the triangle again so it points upwards if needed.

First switch to the Songs view from the control at the top-right that currently reads Playlist.

Changed it to descending
Now I right click Copy to Play Order?
And also will this change appear on my iPhone because so far it has not.
The iPhone should get the playlist as Play Order Ascending. The instructions I gave should invert an existing list. If you're currently viewing the list the way that you want it, but have the triangle pointed down or descending in a control box then you still need to flip it.

I have this same problem and my iTunes does not have an option to switch to Songs view... This is version 12.4.2.4
View > View As > Songs.
