Would disabling motion & fitness save iPhone battery?

I am having battery issues on my 5S. In looking at ways to save it, I am thinking that I don't need Motion & Fitness on the phone since I always wear my watch except when sleeping. Would there be any adverse affects if I disable it? What would I be missing? Would it be a decent battery benefit? I use several fitness apps, but I would think the watch would provide all the data needed.

Thanks in advance
