old computer broken how do I transfer itunes library to new one without it

Hi,
My old laptop's hard drive stopped working so I'm getting a new laptop. How will I be able to transfer my itunes library and access itunes store on my new laptop using Ipod if my old computer is out of service? Thanks for any help.

I have something similar happened to me but I lost all the songs in my music library. As long as you have your songs in your iPod you can transfer songs from iPod to library (old or new computer) by using....

YamiPod - Mac and Windows Versions
CopyPod - Windows only

there are more but these two seems to be the favorite amongst the members here.

If your old hard drive is dead and you didn't back it up then you can't recover it. Do you know for sure its the hard drive that died? I was able to recover the contents of my old pc when it died by removing the old drive and connecting it to a friends PC, then backing it all up and copying onto the new one. As far as accessing iTunes store you just need your Apple ID and you can connect to your iTunes store account on any pc running iTunes.
