How to change/reset Google Account password after changing at Google side

I have seen this answer elsewhere but it doesn't work in my case.

Re point 5 of your description, no area with my old password is shown.

Therefore I find nowhere to change the password for G-mail.

One can find this at iCloud account, which I also have installed in my Mac Pro.

From your question, I understand that after changing your Gmail password on Google’s website, Main and Calendars are no longer functioning seemingly because the password hasn’t been updated on the accounts on your Mac.

If you are unable to update the password using Internet Accounts, you can change the passwords directly in the Mail and Calendar applications.

To do this (this will have to be completed in Mail and Calendar separately):

1. Select Mail or Calendar from the menu bar

2. Choose Preferences

3. Select Accounts

4. Select your Gmail account in the left hand side bar

5. You will see an area with your old password entered. It will display as dots

6. Select this field and type in your new password

7. Click the red button in the upper left of the Preferences window and you will be prompted to save the changes.
