Not all recipients are receiving my group texts

I am having an issue with group texts. I have "iMessage" turned on, "Group Messaging" turned on in my settings, and I have MMS Messaging turned on. But there are several people who, when I send them a text in a group, they do not receive the text. These people are also on iPhones. Also, (I have attached a screen shot), when I send a group text, why do people have to be "added to the conversation?" Didn't I add them when I instigated the original text message??? Note: in the string below, Laurany did NOT receive the text, despite me initially including her and Nancy adding her to the conversation.

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

usually if the group text includes all Apple devices then the text color would be blue.

you can only add people to a group imessage.

The issue seems to be with the other contacts phone and not yours.

The green bubble indicates to me that someone has imessage turned off or are in an area with a weak wifi or cellular data signal or doesn't have MMS turned on.

Correct MMS needs to be turn on for everyone, if there is a non Apple user in the group.

Thank you. I will check with them and make sure. It's strange, because one of the gals who doesn't get my group texts does get them from other people who send them to her. From what you are saying, in a group, everyone must have MMS turned on if one person in the group is not on an iphone?
