charging in a truck with ac plug
IPhone 6s using the AC adapter in a AC plug in a Chevrolet Silverado to charge phone. Can this be done without hurting the phone? Any recommendations will be helpful.

the iPhone is charged by 5volt DC the ac charger transfer AC 110 or 230 volt into 5volt
the AC adaptor is obvious to the car is transferring it's battery DC current into AC for the AC charger
