Yesterday I decided to update Logic to 10.2.1so I went to the App store and it said it was already installed. When I open Logic it is version 10.2.0.
I'm stuck here. Any ideas?

You probably have another copy of LPX somewhere on your computer. Do a thorough search.

Thanks for your suggestion. I looked thoroughly but only see Logic X in my applications folder on my system drive. Interestingly it says it was modified a week ago on the same date that the App store says it installed the 10.2.1 update. but when I open GET INFO it shows it as version 10.2.0
As you cannot find the other copy...
Delete the Logic Pro X app in your Applications folder... Then... importantly.. Empty Trash and restart your Mac.
Now go to the Purchase tab in the Mac App Store App and re-download / Install the app again.
It will then download and install the latest version....

OK just tried it and it didn't help. A stereo track came up in the main window but there were no controls to automate.
ill work around it. I'll export to a new arrangment and do auromation with the master there.
