Show Master Track is missing?
I Am sure it was under the "Track" before, but now it is gone. Any thoughS?

To see the Master track.. make sure it is turned on in the Mixer view...
However I think you are looking for, what is now called the Output track, found under Track > Show Output track....
Show Master track is now found only in that menu if the project has a Surround track....
Show Output track is found in that menu for projects that only have Mono or Stereo tracks.. and no Surround sound elemtns

I cannot seem to find where to show master track please help
I was able to get that far, but I want to automate the Master track and I am unable to do that on the Output track.
i Was able to show a stereo track as well and an output track but my Master track has totally disappeared.
Right click on the Output track in the Mixer strip...and choose Create Track...
Now you will find an Output track in the arranbge window for you to use to automate...
In my case the Output track is named Stereo Out...
You can do the same with the Master track though I prefer to leave that alone and use the Output track instead....

OK just tried it and it didn't help. A stereo track came up in the main window but there were no controls to automate. ill work around it. I'll export to a new arrangment and do auromation with the…

It does work.. I use it all the time here..

I use the Stereo Out simply to leave the Master well alone.. but you can do it that way too if you wish and have shown.... 🙂
The only reason i can think of that Slade doesn't see the automation functions in the track header is he didn't turn automation on via the Automation On/Off button at the top....
or..
Not all Advanced Tools have been enabled in Logic's prefs....

Thanks i got it figured. When I was trying a bunch of things out to get a master output I some how split it into left side and right side.
the stereo track now comes up and when I pull up automation it now comes up.
