I got a new phone for christmas, and I've noticed that not all of my music is on my new phone. Actually quite a bit of my songs are gone. Ive tried plugging my phone into my mac and searching through iTunes, but i don't see them there either. This is making me really made because i spent money on these songs and i want them back. So how can i get them back onto my phone/ where are they?

If they are not appearing on your mac, then you have to figure out where you purchase them from originally. If you purchased them through iTunes, be sure you are in the correct Apple ID then follow: Download your past purchases - Apple Support If they are from another website, go to that site to re-download them, then simply drop them into iTunes. If they are form old CDs, you will need to import them form CD again. Once they are in iTunes again, you will be able to place them on your new iPhone.
