How can I upload the newest version - Im using "iOS 6.1.6"?

It depends on the device you are using. It is likely to be an iPhone 5 or older. If it is before iPhone 5, you will not be able to update your device to iOS 10.3 (the latest.) If it is an iPhone 5 you are able to update it to the latest. If it is older than iPhone 5 you will not.
If you would like to upgrade your ios, follow these steps.
1. Go to settings.
2. Click General.
3. Click software update.
4. Choose download and install.
Bear in mind that updating can slow down your device.
