Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Apple TV 4. I have the screensaver set to start after two minutes. I am streaming photos from my iMac as well as podcasts that have been downloaded. Sometimes but without any consistency, when the screensaver starts the music stops. In addition, I am using a photo album of about 5k pictures but the screen saver keeps looping through about 25 or so. Any thoughts? TIA

I don't experience it when streaming music from other sources, don't regularly use podcasts but will test. Only a small portion of space is used to temporarily cache photos for screensaver, typically its around 100 but it will depend on resolution, size
Vazandrew, thanks for the reply. I also do not experience the music stoppage if i am simply drawing from my music library. As I said, inconsistent. My photos are all large - anyway to increase the cache size?
OK, I will see if I can replicate with a podcast. Its a set cache size, you could probably put them in the photo stream or shared album and use that to allow some more to cache.
My ATV 4 stops playing music from the MyTuner app as soon as the screen saver starts up, this is a new bug either introduced in the last firmware update or when the app was updated. The Apple Music app will play with the screen saver on so it may be app specific.
