FCP 10.2 will not open

FCP 10.2 will not open

I go to open the program and a message pops up saying it closed unexpectedly. Then it tells me to click reopen and when I do the same message pops up. I can click OK and Reopen. Reopen gives me the message again and when i click OK the message goes away but the program still does not open. What do I do?

If you hold down the option and command keys when you launch you can (and should) delete the FCP preferences. You will be presented with a new empty library. Navigate (from the File menu) to your working library and see whether it crashes FCP.
