Netgear WGR614 v4 --wireless printing?--

Hello all,
been to Ifelix site on print compatibility.
Have a Netgear WGR614 v4 (with ethernet outs)
Want to purchase HP OJ 6310 (with ethernet port)
If I connect the printer to the router, should I be able to print wirelessly over network with Powerbook Laptops?
Or do I need extra hardware? ie print server, apple extreme base station

Since the HP printer you mention is Ethernet-capable, then it should be reachable from the network if it connected directly to your Netgear router. You shouldn't need to acquire any additional networking items.

Just got this setup working. Configured router to "see" devices connected. Am now able to print AND scan wirelessly with any computer on router's network--no card or print server needed. I think if you buy a printer or all-in-one that is "network ready", essentially the device has server built in.
Can't believe I almost payed for a print server...ridiculous.
