I switched to Safari from Firefox because one investment website wouldn't run properly. All was well until the other day when one particular banking site refuses to load at all. I've checked all my preferences, cleared the cache, and deleted the cookie from that website, but all I get is a blank page. All my other banking sites load without a problem. It will load in Firefox just fine. Any thoughts?

Thanks Linc - I did all this and it still doesn't show up - I can sometimes actually see it briefly and then it disappears
Thanks Eric - I'm not comfortable working in the console, but I have done all the other stuff with clearing history, deleting cookies, etc. I give up -- I'll just use another browser for that website. 😠
Please start up in Recovery mode. In the OS X Utilities screen, select Get Help Online. A clean copy of Safari will launch. No plugins, such as Flash, will be available. While in Recovery, you'll have no access to your saved bookmarks or passwords, so make a note of those before you begin, if they're needed for the test.
Test. After testing, restart as usual and post the results.
