Anyone having trouble with Turbotax 2015 and Adobe Acrobat ReaderDC in El Capitan?

I'm using a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.11.3 and have the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (15.010.20056). When using Turbotax 2015, my completed PDF forms do not show the entered data, only blank boxes.

Ferd II,

Thanks for responding.

When I open in Preview, I get the same result.

I suspect that there may be an incompatibility problem between Turbotax and the new Adobe reader.

I've tried to contact Turbotax two times now and gave up after holding for almost an hour. The second time, I got a call back but the tech couldn't help and put me on hold again for a "Mac expert" which I also had to quit on after a long wait - lousy service!

Keep in mind that with TurboTax on a Mac, PDF creation requires TT to send your data to their servers for formatting into either PDF's or to send to your local printer (Intuit blames that on Apple's restriction for selling software in the App Store). If you can actually create PDF's, that transfer has taken place (if you try off-line you can't get that far). I suspect they're having problems at their end and tech support isn't up to the job (I've gotten conflicting answers about whether an internet connection is still necessary for printing since it never was for TT on Windows).

I purchases TT directly from Intuit and am able to print out filled in PDF files whether connected or unconnected to the internet.

Where did you purchase Turbotax? If it was from the Apple store then you may have to make sure you're connected to the internet. If you got it directly from Intuit there's something amiss with your system.

As a test log into another user account on your Mac and try printing to PDF from there.

Are you using this route to printing:

That's very interesting because my TT came on a TT Deluxe CD purchased from Staples with both Mac and Windows installers on it. Without an internet connection, it complains about the lack of a connection and will neither print nor create PDF files for later printing. This was a known issue for the previous tax year and Intuit support initially said it had been fixed for this year but then changed its story.

When you say you purchased it directly from Intuit, did you purchase a download? And when you first created the PDF files, were you connected to the internet? In my experience saving a return as PDF will not be allowed without an internet connection. Of course, once the PDF is saved, then local printing is possible.
