set date back now phone won't turn on

So i set my phone back to january 1st 1970 because my friend did it and it looked cool so i did it and rebooted my iPhone and now its stuck on the apple loading turn on screen and occasionally showing me the the loading symbol.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2.1

Your "friend" probably knew this. What other reason would there be to set the phone to that date.
