FB deleted by video saying I might've violated a copyright.
I bought a song on iTunes to add to a video I created. I shared on FB. They deleted saying I might have violated a copyright by using this song. Don't I have the right since I bought it?

Nope. Most songs are copyrighted and you can't use them because you don't own the rights to the song. You may "own" the song, but not the rights.
Yuck! Not cool. Adding this to the list of many reasons I don't buy music very often. 😟 Thanks
If you have a YouTube account, you can go to https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music to see what music is free to use. You can even search their database.
YouTube also has Ad Supported music, which means if you use the song, they can add an add before or during your video. Most "popular" artists are going to be in this list, such as Coldplay or Rihanna. I would upload the video to YouTube first so you can make sure the song works, then link it to FaceBook.

This is the best list I know of for finding music. There are a ton of uncopyrighted music you can use but those songs are pretty bad. This list has popular artists, which is more relevant to most people.

Thank you much!!
