Locked iCloud Account in Remote Country
Hello,
My iCloud Account is locked for security reasons and I am unable to access it and/or turn it off. I just bought a new phone and accidentally backed it up to an old backup associated with an old iCloud Account. I really need to unlock it to use most features. Needless to say I have forgotten the security questions and had not put a rescue email address. I also live in the Maldives, which does not have an apple store and hence, does not have apple support.
The website asks me to contact my phone carrier but they do not know how to help.
Please advise 🙂
