iTunes Netflix email scam?
I just received an email with the following information, despite definitely not having subscribed to Netflix;
Is this just a spam post?

I have also had this exact email with the same pricing. I only looked at as I have recently started a free trial with netflix. However, when I was asked to enter my email and password they couldn't even spell password properly. I've deleted the email and will be adding the address to my blocked list.
I Received the exact same email, rang Apple, he checked the email address and my account to ensure I didn't have a subscription and it was confirmed it was a phishing scam. It gives you the link to cancel your subscription but you'd have to sign in with your AppleID to cancel it.
Delete you get this email!!!
I have received the same Netflix email every month starting from April 2016. I contacted Apple support and they confirmed that it is definitely a phishing scam email.
I (very stupidly) followed the link in this email but didn't get asked for any details. I immediately checked my previous charges through iTunes, did a full system AV scan and have changed my iTunes and Netflix passwords.
Is there anything else I should do to ensure that nothing happens?
The payment details linked to my Apple ID are out of date.
Thanks in advance.
Do not fill in any card details for cancellation. The senders email address differs to all other emails from iTunes store.
I have never subscribed to Netflix either, but i will keep an close eye on my bank balance.
Sorry to add to a long answered thread but I stupidly clicked the 'Manage/Cancel Subscriptions' link in this mail and the fake page it brought up auto populated my name/address/apple ID and phone number, as well as a list of the devices linked to my account. I've not checked the device ID's but the models listed had all been associated with my account in the past (eg iPhone 4 etc). apple support didn't have much to say about this and just suggested that I update all sec details but the level of my info on the fake page has me concerned, any advice?
i dont need this please if some one click on this but i dont need it im not going to pay for this thank you
If it's a phishing email, which is what this thread is about, then there isn't anything to pay for - if it is a phishing email and you went to their site and entered your details then change your account's password and, if you entered payment details, contact your card issuer
First of all, Netflix does not cost this much and there is no such thing as 1S plan.
If we are going to take a look at the mange/cancel subscription part, I believe that iTunes does not offer cancel subscription via email. You need to cancel subscription at Settings>iTunes & App Store> Apple ID> View Apple ID> Subscriptions>Manage. This one is really a spam email.
Hallo to everybody, i am new here...
It'shappen to me too, exactly the same
I have also had this email, but, it does not address it to the email account I am using with Apple therefore I am assuming it is spam. I am deleting but would be grateful for confirmation!
It's likely to be a phishing email (especially if it's gone to an email account that isn't an iTunes account), you could check it using the instructions on the link that I've already posted on this thread, and forward it to Apple using the address already posted
Thanks for your reply, found this. Really helpful, definItaly scam, forwarded. Gen
I got this email today too (nov 8th 2016). As far as I know, I do not have a netflix subscription. I clicked on the "manage/cancel subscription" link and it took me to you tube. Hope my phone is still safe.
Rec same email starting the new year with spam. Sure looks legit, though.
