iPhone 5c Screen don´t work after 30 seconds unnattendant

The Screen it´s working.
But if I don´t touch that for more than 30 seconds stops working.
I locked the phone and try to unlock after 10 seconds it works correctly.

But if the phone stays for more than 30 seconds unnattendant the screen don´t work.
Then I press twice the ON-OFF button to lock/unlock and then the screen starts working again.

If I answer a call and I´m talking for more than 30 seconds the screen stops working.
I Reset the phone.

I change screen lock from never to several minutes. It´s not the problem.
I press on+home buttons and it doesn´t fix the problem.

¿Any Idea?

Hi there VueloLibre,

It sounds like your phone screen just stops responding after its been sitting for more than thirty seconds even after doing some good troubleshooting for it. Next I would further isolate the issue to either software or hardware by quitting all the running apps on your phone:

Force an app to close in iOS

1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.

When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:

iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.

How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself. Please let us know how that goes!

Thanks, but... I just already try more than close open software:
-Erase from iTunes.
-Restore from iTunes.

-Erase to factory setting from phone Settings. And the problem persists,
If I´m not using my phone I can´t answer a call. Because the touch screen doesn´t work.

And If I press Power button to look and then Press home starts working

but I can´t recover my call because when I touch Power button the call ends.

I think it´s hardware problem but I don´t have an Apple Technician in my country.

Ah, I see thank you for the update. Restoring the phone to factory defaults should resolve any software issue and at this point I would say that your phone does need repair.

On the other hand, you could try putting the device into recovery mode, and restoring it one more time since I do not see that on your very thorough list of troubleshooting. The process for that is outlined here:

If you can‘t update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

This is an odd presentation, but if you've ruled out software then let's troubleshoot hardware problems.

first rule out bad screen

if you have the same behavior with a known good screen then I would change u3, the display/touch poeer chip on the board. For some reason 5c's are prone to losing the function of this chip after mild drop or water damage. I saw two cases of this today--however the typical presentation is that you will have image problems as well. It is less common to only have to uh defected be to have touch work intermittently. Im trying to think about what else it could be without the schematic in front of me--if it were an iPhone 5, I would look at q3, a transistor that dumps the image line to ground when the phone is turned off. I haven't seen the same in a 5c, but I would look for that as well.
