Is there a way to track a stolen Apple pencil or find a lost one ?

SO if the iPad Pro could not reach out the pencil what should happens When it lost its signal???

If his information really proceed as true I will strong recommend not to buy the Apple Pencil because the programmed obsolescense would be crue in this nor for the desire to buy the revolutionary new iPencil neither for the -$$$ in cash wen you may lost yours old Apple Pencil or when sepending more to buy the novalty

I for what it's worth if your pencil hasn't been disconnected by turning Bluetooth off, you can at last figure out if it's in your general vicinity with the batteries widget.

I dropped mine in my car, but I didn't know that. I hope it was at least at home, so I opened the Notification Center! the widget wasn't there. But as I walked around and opened and closed the Notification Center it popped up. that made me look more carefully And I found it.

Not any users using THAT approved app, either, and the only user who tried this expensive BT finder app reported that it is a poor functioning and/or poorly written app.

There is NO app or Bluetooth "tracker" app that can locate ANY Bluetooth stylii or other Bluetooth peripheral devices that connect to an iDevice without some sort of built-in GPS tracker chip/device in the BT stylii or peripheral device.

None.

Please look up the "large distance" which is the range that Bluetooth can reach. And, again, Bluetooth has no sense of location. Such apps are jokes (especially when advertised with pictures of maps covering hundreds of square miles).

Ya know?

It is what is what it is!

There aren't any Bluetooth stylii that can be tracked.

Bluetooth Devices have a very limited signal range.

I don't know of any Bluetooth peripheral devces that have GPS trackers bulit into them.

If you purchase an expensive stylus and lose it or it gets stolen, it's gone. You're out of the device and money.

Put the device somewhere where it won't get lost or stolen.

Don't blame someone else, or the technology or lack thereof.

If you want to pay more more for a GPS trackable Bluetooth Apple Pencil, put in your feedback here.

Whilst there isn't a way to track the pencil, each one does have a unique serial number which is etched on the lightning connector, you need a loupe or magnifying glass to see it, or you can plug it into an ipad and then go to settings-general-about and at the bottom find pencil, which gives you all the details including serial number, model, firmware, etc..
