Compatible version of Matlab with Macbook Pro 2012 Model with OS El Captain?

I installed Matlab R2015a on my Macboom Pro 2012 old model but it`s not working properly. Please suggest a compatible version of Matlab for Macbook Pro 2012 Model with El Captain?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

This page suggests R2015A does not work on El Capitan; however, R2015B does work.
