How do I import multiple playlists?

Hello all,

Newbie here. I just installed ITunes and can't figure out how to import the 235 playlists I already have other than one by one.

Isn't there a way to select and import them from an entire folder?

Sorry, but as far as I can tell, there is no way for me to programmatically (i.e. with a script), mark certain playlists for syncing on the iPod.

Why so many playlists?
You aren't doing one for each artist & album, are you?

Uh-oh! Your iPod must be going bad because it is repeating itself! 😉

I think what Chris is asking is why you don't just use the "Music->Albums" menu on your iPod.

Yes. As you have probably seen in a few other posts, many people think they need to create a playlist for every artist and every album.
This is (almost always) not needed since you can select an artist or album in iTunes or the iPod.

No, my playlists have nothing to do with artists/albums. Since I can't write music, sequencing works is the closest I've come to composing.
