Remove right click menu option

I installed a Synology NAS in my house and I now find that I have two new identical right click menu options.

Can anybody please advise how I would remove one of those? Im using El Capitan 10.11.4.

Thanks,

Again, thank you for taking the time to reply. However, the problem is not just about Synology and doesn't require another Synology user to answer it. Applications like Dropbox also add menu options to the right click menu as you can see in my screenshot.

As this menu option is on a Mac in OS X, perhaps somebody who knows how to remove it from the right click menu might stumble across my question and let me know how to do it.

Thanks,

S

First look in the HD/Library/Contextual Menu Items and the Users/Home/Library/Contextual Menu Items folders.

If that doesn't find the files that are causing the duplication download and run Find Any File to search for any files with the application's name and/or the developer's name in the file name. For Synlogy you'd only need one search:

1 - Name contains synology

This will show you where the files are located and you can then see if there's any duplication anywhere, like in the HD/Library and then Users/Home/Library folders that might be giving you those two menu entires.

For example a search for Synk (a backup app I use) provides this:

FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.
