I have played real racing 2 for some time and all of a sudden it stopped working:
Real Racing 2 can't be opened.
Real Racing 2 is damaged and can't be opened.
Delete "Real Racing 2" and download it again from the App Store.
I completely removed it, downloaded again and reinstalled, but the same error.
Is the file in AppStore repository damaged?

An 2015 bug with the App store came back recently. You need not reinstall but rather log out of the App Store and then log back in. I got that with several App Store purchases last week and the sign-out/in thing restored function with no additional downloading or re-installing. The sign-out function is under the App Soter's "Store" menu.
No updates in App store for over 3 years.

Di you try my suggestion of logging out of the App store and then logging back in? That fixed my problem.
Yes, I tried that. But game still doesn't start with the same message.

Just spent 12 bucks on this and not getting ANY bang for it... literally. Same message.

Appears that Real Racing 2 does not like El Capitan. Pity. Would have been fun to go for a spin.
Disconnect from internet and try to run the game.
