how to use the cassette taps to store data on it, thank you ?.

hello sir/madam....


please i love to know how to save or store a files or a small programs on a cassette tapes to my macbook ?, and what kind of cassette recorders should i use and also cables ?, and how to open the files such as text files or such an image or any small datas ?, thank you.

OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), my os x.

Why would you, or anyone for that matter, want to do this?

And using one of these on a modern MacBook?

Why?...

I don't understand the point or logic of doing this.

Floppy drives, okay.

You may have a legitimste shot at putting an external floppy drive to use.

But tape drives are NOT that common, the technology is very old and finding all the hardware and software bits to kludge this all together could, possibly, get rather expensive.

Why even attempt this?

I just don't get it.

Also, posting this in a modern, OS X Mavericks forum besides?...
