Montserrat font not printing or exporting

Hello,

I'm trying to print a presentation using the Montserrat font. It is able to display within Keynote, but will not print, or export to another program. I was thinking of exporting to PDF and then just printing those; however, the pages just show up blank. Unfortunately, I have to use this font per client instructions.

I'm using version 6.6.1 and am on running El Capitan.

Thanks!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

I don't see anything in the report that is a cause for concern, the overall performance is excellent.

Two things to try next:

1 - test Keynote in a new user account to find if Keynote performs correctly

Create a test user account

  • From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
  • Click the Users & Groups icon in the System Preferences window.
  • Click the lock icon, then enter an administrator name and password.
  • Click the Add button ➕ below the list of users.
  • Choose administrator from the New Account pop-up menu.
  • Give the user a full name, account name, and password.
  • Click OK.
  • Close the System Preferences window.
  • Test Keynote
  • the test account can be deleted after testing

2 - Try resetting Keynote as follows:

Perform all the steps in the order listed

to uninstall Keynote, you must use an application removal tool for this procedure to work

Appcleaner is free and works well for this procedure, it can be download from here: Appcleaner

  • empty the trash
  • shut Down the Mac (Apple menu > Shut Down)
  • wait 10 seconds, then press the power button
  • immediately after you hear the start up tone, hold down the Shift key
  • release the Shift key when you see the grey Apple screen, start up will take a few minutes longer than usual as the Mac is performing a software repair
  • after the repair and the Mac is fully booted, restart the Mac normally, (Apple > Restart)
  • install Keynote from the Mac App Store using the Apple ID that originally installed Keynote
