Tiscali email setup on iPad not working

Hi, my tiscali email on my iPad stopped working with a message saying that name or password were incorrect. This has happened a few time is the past and has been rectified by creating a new account on the ipad and turning the old accounts to inactive. However this time the Ipad would not let me create a new account until the old accounts were deleted. So I have deleted the old accounts, but still I get a message saying that the I map.talktalk server does not recognise the name or password. I know the name and password are good as they are working on my desktop email and android phone.
