Streaming Error

You seem to be using an unblocker or proxy. Please turn off any of these services and try again. For more help, visit netflix.com/proxy.

gI tried to plug my laptop directly to the ISP modem and everything works normally on netflix, but when i switch back to the airport extreme something is blocking the streaming.

I've tried to reset to factory settings but still the same error.

Please a Little Help

It appears there is nothing that can be done. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple, and we tried several different things including resetting the Airport 3 times as if the first 2 didn't work...in conclusion the technician said there was nothing else to be done but that he would "pass the information up the line" and suggested I used a non-Apple router since it is confirmed working.

Netflix will not say the problem is the Apple router, I think there is something political about it. But they will say that "certain routers conflict with their proxy detection because of the way it tunnels IPv6". But it doesn't help if you try to disable IPv6 or IPv6 Sharing.

As you are aware, Netflix has started cracking down on folks who are using proxy servers or VPNs in order to access Netflix content that is designed to be seen in countries other than their own. I am not accusing you of doing so, but Netflix thinks you are.

Has this always happened or just started to happen recently? If just recently, did you do any network changes?

I am assuming that you are using an Apple AirPort base station that was designed to work in your country. Is this correct? If so, then the only thing, at this point, that I can think of is to perform a "factory default" reset on your AirPort base station again and reconfigure it for your network to see if this helps resolve the issue. Otherwise, I would suggest that you contact Netflix support directly to find out how you can get this resolved.
