iPhone 5S Bluetooth won't connect to MINI Cooper 2013

I've had my MINI Cooper for two years and my iPhone 5S was connected via Bluetooth, and I could make/receive calls, no problem. One day about 2 weeks ago my iPhone 5S just stopped being connected. The iPhone recognized my MINI, but when I went into the MINI's Bluetooth settings it shows "Searching..." but it never finds my iPhone.

I took it to the dealer to get fixed, and they said they're unable to fix it, that it's an issue with Apple and they're waiting for a fix.

Anyone else have this problem? I searched here and couldn't find any recent posts with the same issue.
