Nothing - Aperture support was discontinued over a year ago by Apple - nothing changed as long as you were up to date with Aperture 3.6 and nothing will until you do some future OS update (which is totally at your option) that will totally break Aperture (and iPhoto)

And what difference does it make anyway since as of the end of this month you can no longer print any print products from Aperture

The best plan is to migrate to a new program - Photos is one easy (less capable) option and there are many others

You can possibly save them as PDF's and use another printer to print them.

It is bit sad - we could order directly from Aperture third-party books.

But all links in Aperture to the plug-ins for third-party books are now linking to the Photos for Mac application.

Aperture's main application menu "Aperture Plug-Ins" links to http://www.apple.com/osx/photos/

as well as the link from the book themes:

Why does Apple disable the links to non-Apple books now, when Apple is no longer providing the Print services for Aperture books?

The book themes in Photos are very different from the Aperture Book Themes. And you cannot customize the page layout in Photos, like you can in Aperture. So, if you migrate an Aperture library to Photos, your albums and photos will migrate, with the edits applied, and most metadata available, but the books will only migrate as albums. You will have to recreate the books.

Photo books migrate to Albums.

I'd try Keith Barkley's suggestion first. Print to PDF and find a local printer.
