can I put my tesco sim into my ipad air2 cellular

Hi all what a glorious day hear in the UK London, I would like some info please. I would like to know if I can hook my Tesco phone sim to the Ipad air 2 cellular. I will be purchasing the ipad air around the end of March and would like to know if it's worth having the cellular version or not. I'm waiting until the end of March because as you all know the air 3 may be out by then and I will have more options

you should, as long as the sim has an enabled data plan, as data is the only feature iPads can use no normal calls or sms's

hi rudegar, so what you're saying is it doesn't accept calls through it if my sim is paired with it and I am unable to make a call it's just for mobile data as such

The iPad is not a phone. You can't make voice calls or send text messages like regular phone. You can, however, make calls from apps to apps over WiFi or mobile network.
