I am unable to install vpp apps with Apple configurator 2. It errors with - temporarily unavailable (ConfigurationUtilityKit.vpp.error 0x2583. The apps appear in Apple configurator 2 then disappear. It was working ok last week I did 36 but not this week.

Same problem, same error here. Must be them, not us. Hopefully it get's sorted out quickly.

I was having the same problem at a school in Birmingham UK yesterday…and to some degree last Thursday.
Later when I logged on to the VPP Store I noticed a new button called 'Generate History' in the 'Purchase History' section. This button has now disappeared - which makes me think it was an site admin button. So a guess is that Apple are altering the backend of the VPP site in preparation for the education features.
Let's hope they finish the work soon. As it's as painful as when Apple Configurator 2 was introduced.
I have been battling the same error message on and off now for four days. Today I was able to update my blueprint on 4 ipads without an error message. I only have 2 more to go but keep getting the same error message. This is so frustrating. I am trying to basically refresh a cart of 24 ipads and it is taking me days to do it.
