How do i set my Airport Express into bridge mode to mesh with new cable modem?

Time Warner sent me a new cable modem and My airport express continues blinking orange light. How do I set the airport express into bridge mode?

You can simply do so using the AirPort Utility on your iMac or iPhone, as follows:

  • Run the AirPort Utility.
  • Select the AirPort Express, and then, select Edit.
  • For a Mac:
    • On the Network tab, change Router Mode to: Off (Bridge Mode)
    • Select Update and allow the base station to restart.
  • For an iOS device:
    • Select Advanced > DHCP and NAT
    • Change Router Mode to: Off (Bridge Mode)
    • Select Done and allow the base station to restart.
