Is it safe to use keyboard cover if I put microfiber cloth on top of the keyboard cover when I close the mac? (mac pro retina display)

Hi, all.

I'm using Kuzy keyboard cover on my mac pro retina display.

I read that Apple doesn't recommend to use keyboard cover when you close the retina display mac.

So I wonder if it would be safe to use keyboard cover if I put microfiber cloth on top of the keyboard cover when I close the mac?

In that way, would retina display not be scratched by a keyboard cover?

Please share some idea about it, thanks.

It is not just the possibility of a scratch, it is also that the retina MacBook Pros are very thin. Adding a keyboard cover and cloth could lead to damage and it not closing properly. I personally would not use either on my rMBP.

To enable the thin design of MacBook Pro with Retina display computers, the clearance between the display and the top case is engineered to tight tolerances. Do not use palm rest covers or keycap covers, as the additional thickness may interfere with the designed closed position of the display.
